BMW getting ready for Geneva

The BMW Vision ConnectedDrive Roadster to be unveiled at

With the Geneva Auto Show only a few weeks away, companies are making the final preparations for their unveilings in hopes of capturing the public's eye and imagination.

BMW is no different, and they have something rather special planned for this year's edition of the show.

They plan to show off the BMW Vision ConnectedDrive Roadster.

I can't give you any specs as of right now, but the Germans are always worth watching when it comes to auto shows simply for the brilliance of their technology.

For example the ConnectedDrive Roadster has sensors on its lights which allow it to gather information about other traffic on the road. Then the driver can use this information to make better decisions on the road, allowing them to drive more safely. The car also has a 3D heads-up display which can do everything from reading text messages to acting as a GPS.

This exterior is very sleek but I'd avoid the dark gray paint job, as that gives it a bit of a sperm whale look.

Stay tuned to find out more about BMW's showing at Geneva.

  1. But who doesn't like sperm whales! What a cool looking car, I love these concept cars. They really show the world what companies are capable of, and with engineering being more respect then doctors in Germany, I would say BMW is capable of quite a lot!
