Jag joins electric supercar club

Well it's no secret that the automotive industry is going green, so Jaguar has created a concept super car called the C-X75 which will run entirely on electricity.

The car was announced at the Paris Auto Show in September. Jaguar says it can post a 0-60 time in only 3.4 seconds and that it will keep going to a top speed of 205 mph.

The reason for all this speed comes from the electric engines on all four wheels that pump out 778 horsepower and the car produces a colossal 1180 lb ft of torque.

Jaguar said they wanted to make the C-X75 one of the most beautiful Jaguars of all time.

At this they have failed. Honestly I cannot say that this is the most beautiful Jag ever made, in fact I don't even think it's in the top 5. It's not an ugly thing by any stretch of the imagination, but the exterior is just not gorgeous enough.

The interior though, that's a bit of a different story.

It looks so futuristic with its honeycomb like paneling on the doors and ambient blue lighting. Even the polished aluminium makes it seem like your sitting in a spaceship and the seats  meld seamlessly into the floor. Jag makes some very beautiful interiors and this one is certainly "out there."

The car was also recently unveiled at the Los Angeles Auto Show where it attracted the eye of Jay Leno. See what he thinks of it in the video below.
