Jeep's Special Edition Wrangler: The Call of Duty Black Ops

The Jeep Wrangler Call of Duty Black Ops edition.

It's not unheard of for video games to release special edition versions of the console that they are for. For example when Halo 3 came out there was a special Xbox 360 Halo 3 edition where you got a console with special art that tied in with the Halo franchise.

Now though, according to autoblog.com, Jeep is releasing a special edition version of the Wrangler as seen in Call of Duty's latest game Black Ops.

The new Wrangler Black Ops edition is pretty much exactly the same as a normal Wrangler except you get  "mineral grey alloy wheels," 32" tires, and everything is black. You also get a couple of Mopar bits like a fuel door and taillamp guards.

What is kind of cool about the Wrangler is the amount of stuff you can do using only the buttons on the steering wheel. Radio, cruise control, and hand-free phone usage are just a few of the things controllable using the wheel.

The press release says prices for this version of the Wrangler will start at $30, 625 for the two-door and $33, 500 for the four-door and should be in stores, well, now (the press release says November).
